September Foodie Favorites 🌴🍽️
As a Miami local of 5+ years, I’ve got high expectations when it comes to the food scene, and October came in swinging. Here are three spots that earned a place on my Miami eats list this month. 🔥
1. MILA 🌿
We’re kicking things off with a classic girl dinner at MILA. 💅
The Wagyu A5 Kagoshima Aburi Maki is the move 🍣. Torched wagyu on a maki roll? Need I say more? Then save room (trust me) for the Chef’s Selection Dessert Tower 🍰, a showstopper that’s as fun to look at as it is to eat. Bring your girls, order the tower, and thank me later.
2. Ockap Caviar 🖤
Next up, Ockap Caviar, and let me tell you, this one had a plot twist.
We started with the Caviar Croquettes, the lobster roll, and the blue crab caesar salad.
And then came the Ribeye & Caviar, a 10/10. This may be one of the most delicious steaks I’ve had in Miami. So tender, so flavorful. If you only order one thing here, make it this.
3. Cote 🥩
For #3, we’re heading to Cote, the Korean steakhouse that lives up to the hype.
The wagyu was my absolute fav! But don’t sleep on the Steak & Eggs: hand-cut filet mignon tartare topped with Imperial Daurenki caviar and served with milk toast. Fancy? Yes. Worth it? Also yes.
Pro tip 💡: go for the Butcher’s Feast at $82pp and add the Japanese A5 Wagyu for $32pp. Feeling extra? The Steak Omakase at $225pp is the ultimate treat-yourself move.
