What is the Best Tea Time in Miami?
The Biltmore π«β¨
If you are on the hunt for the best tea time in Miami, you can stop your search right now because it's Afternoon Tea at The Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, no notes. I just celebrated my birthday there with my favorite people and honestly? I felt like a fairy princess and I've been thinking about it every day since.
The Second We Walked In
From the second we stepped onto the property we were SO well taken care of. The Biltmore just has this magical, historical, old world charm to it, think soaring ceilings, dreamy arched windows, and light pouring in everywhere. It instantly makes you feel fancy and a little bit like you're in a movie. Perfect vibe for a birthday, honestly perfect vibe for literally any excuse to get cute.
Shoutout to Nestor, Our Actual Hero
Can we talk about Nestor for a second because he made the whole day. He wasn't just our server, he was our personal photographer snapping so many group pics, he sang my birthday song in ITALIAN which none of us saw coming and it was the sweetest surprise, and he even cut the cake for us. Like who does all that?! Nestor did. If you go, please ask for him, you will not regret it.
A Harpist
Iβm still shook because for the first time we were enjoying a meal without the blaring loud music, a typical Miami restaurant experience. The whole time we were there, a harpist was playing the softest, most soothing melodies in the background. It was such a sweet little detail that made everything feel extra special and calm. It felt like a fairytale soundtrack just for us..
Let's Talk About the Food
Obviously we need to discuss the three tiered tray because it was a whole moment. Cute little scones, a bunch of sweet treats, and savory bites all stacked up so perfectly you almost don't want to touch it (almost). Everything was fresh and so yummy, the kind of spread you want to slowly nibble through while you chat instead of rushing. We especially loved the truffle deviled egg, the smoked salmon, the petit vanilla bean cake and the Lavender Oolong tea.
And the Photo Ops? Endless.
The Biltmore is insanely photogenic, my girlfriends and I got SO much amazing content. Every single corner of the hotel is a new backdrop just waiting to happen. Grand staircases, dreamy arches, that gorgeous courtyard, the pool that looks straight out of a European vacation, literally everywhere you turn there's another spot begging for a picture. We kept saying "okay wait one more" every five minutes and somehow it still didn't feel like enough. If you're the type to plan your outfit around the photos (no judgment, we all are), this is your sign, The Biltmore will not disappoint.
So Basically, Go
Between Nestor being an absolute gem, the harp playing sweetly in the background, and that gorgeous little tea tray, Afternoon Tea at The Biltmore is THE MOVE. It's fancy but still fun, elegant but not stuffy, and it makes any little celebration feel like the biggest deal.
Birthday, bridal shower, girls day, or just a random Wednesday where you want to feel a little bit magical, go book Afternoon Tea at The Biltmore. And seriously, ask for Nestor ππ«
